Information Needed for a Cost Seg

You only need to provide us with a few items to get your cost segregation done:

  • Construction plans in PDF
  • For new construction or renovation, the building contractor schedule of values
  • For a purchase of an existing property, send us the capital cost to be analyzed
  • That’s about it; there are a few details but those are the basics. The plans in electronic format are the most important thing. There are two ways you can transmit the plans to us:

    1) Contact the architects who created the plans and ask them to e-mail us a link that enables us to download the plans (architects do this all the time and know what to do)

    2) If someone in your organization already has the plans on your server, and you prefer not to ask the architects to provide us a link, you can either e-mail the plans to us as file attachments (if the file sizes are small enough, they often are) or copy the plans to a CD and mail it to us (let us know and we’ll provide a mailing address). If only hard copy plans exist, we can advise you about the details of getting these scanned into PDF format.
